Gender pay gap reporting

The gender pay gap reporting obligations require any employer with 250+ employees to publish gender pay gap information annually. Data is taken from a ‘snapshot date’ of 5th April each year and is required to be published within a year of that date.

Public Sector Equality Duty (PSED)

Via East Midlands are obliged to produce public sector equality data as the general duty applies to bodies carrying out public functions on behalf of a public authority. Via have specific duties under the Equality Act 2010 to publish information to demonstrate our compliance with the general equality duty.

Safeguarding

Via East Midlands Ltd is committed to keeping children, young people and vulnerable adults safe recognising it is everyone’s responsibility. We aim to ensure that every employee or recognises their responsibility to safeguarding and is able to recognise a potential safeguarding issue and know how to respond appropriately. We train our staff and give practical guidance on what to look out for, what to do if a member of staff suspects there is a safeguarding issue, how to deal with a disclosure and additional information on other key strands of safeguarding.
